THIS YEAR’S GERMAN IMMERSION THEATER SUMMER CAMP: AN EXPLORATION OF TIME, BASED ON THE MODERN FAIRY TALE “MOMO” BY MICHAEL ENDE, WITH LOTS OF MUSIC AND MOVEMENT.

When: July 1 -12 (no camp on July 4), 9:30-4pm with early bird and after care options, 

Tuition: first week: $325, second week: $395

Ages: 7-14

For children who are speakers of German or want to be!

For a speaking part, audition with a song or a poem.

Rhythm of a camp day:

9 am arrival

9:15 – 10:30am crafting or movement, physical drama games

10:30am waterbreak & snack (fruit/ cerial bar – bring your own)

11:00 -12:30pm work on content of “Das Nibelungenlied”, reading, writing; visual arts work/making crankies in small groups

12:30-1:30pm lunch break (byol) outdoors

1:30 -2:45pm music: songs (medieval),  improvisation/composition: how do we accompany scenes with music? (instruments like flute and violin/viola welcome!) OR visual arts projects and journaling

2:45-3pm clean up and pick up
